The first Diving Deeper all member session will focus on the topic of monitoring. This session will address monitoring terminology, before external speakers present on their monitoring approaches and finally a surgery session will allow members to bring their monitoring questions to the group.

About the event
The Scottish Seagrass Collaborative kicks off its all member session for the Diving Deeper group by focusing on the topic of monitoring. This session will bring together the Collaborative's Diving Deeper members to discuss monitoring terminology and the different methods and techniques employed to answer specific monitoring questions. Three external speakers, two from Nature Scot and one from SeaSearch Scotland, will present on their organisation's monitoring programs. The presentations will explore what each organisation seeks to answer through the monitoring program and the tools they use to answer these questions.
The results from the member monitoring survey will be presented, which will share information on the different monitoring methods and techniques being explored and preformed by various member organisations. The survey will also address the specific research areas and questions the different groups are attempting to answer through their monitoring programs.
