The first Getting Started all membership session topic is monitoring. This session will explore what member groups are doing to monitor their meadows and how new groups can get started on their monitoring journey.

About the event
The Scottish Seagrass Collaborative kicks off its first All Member Session focusing on the topic of monitoring. The Getting Started group will be brought together virtually, to connect, discuss and share their experiences on monitoring seagrass meadows. The Collaborative seeks to provide the space for our Getting Started members to meet and get to know one another before addressing questions about their journeys so far. The group will spend time in breakout rooms to share stories of how they first got interested in seagrass and where they went from first finding seagrass. The outputs from the breakout rooms will be used to inform the website's FAQ page.
In the second half of the meeting, the group will hear presentations from Project Seagrass staff informing on monitoring terminology and how to make use of existing seagrass citizen science tools, such as Seagrass Spotter. The session will then pivot to hear from…
