We are delighted to invite you to become a founding member of the Scottish Seagrass Collaborative (SSC)—a new, open platform that brings together anyone with an interest in Scotland’s seagrass meadows. This is a space for anyone who cares about Scotland’s seagrass meadows—whether you are mapping your local seagrass meadow, actively restoring degraded habitats, researching best practice seagrass conservation methods, have only just become interested in seagrass, and anything in between.
The SSC is not a governing body. Instead, it is a collaborative network shaped by its members. Our shared mission is to connect people, share knowledge, and create opportunities for training, resources, and joint action that strengthen seagrass conservation efforts across Scotland. The Collaborative is all about connection, sharing, and support. We know lots of amazing people and groups are already working on seagrass in different ways, but potentially in isolation.
